S-Band CubeSat Patch Antenna

A compact, high-efficiency patch antenna engineered for S-Band downlink on 1U–3U CubeSats — designed by Tamatu's RF engineering team, moving from prototype to production.

This product is still moving through design validation — specifications below are indicative targets, not a final datasheet. Get in touch for current test data and availability.

Purpose-built for small-satellite downlink

Tamatu's communications and RF engineering work has always centred on getting a reliable signal out under real-world constraints — clubrooms, event sites, emergency deployments. The S-Band CubeSat patch antenna takes that same practical approach into orbit: a low-profile, mechanically simple antenna sized to mount flush on a CubeSat structure without eating into payload volume.

It's aimed at university, research and commercial CubeSat teams who need dependable S-Band downlink hardware without designing an antenna from scratch — with the option to work with our team directly on mission-specific tuning.
